Description
Graphology is the study of the physical properties and patterns of handwriting in order to identify the writer, determine the writer’s psychological state at the time of writing, or assess personality traits. There is no scientific evidence to support graphology, and it is widely regarded as a pseudoscience or a scientifically dubious technique. However, it is still widely used in France, and it has been considered legal in some court decisions in the past. Incorrectly, the phrase is occasionally used to refer to forensic document examination.because portions of the latter that deal with the evaluation of handwritten documents are sometimes referred to as graphanalysis
While graphology did not become a scientific discipline, many experts in experimental psychology and psychiatry were involved in the effort to study graphology within a broader, more recognised science of expression, according to Schlicht, an academic historian, and that “to qualify something as pseudoscience can thus easily result in an unsystematic examination of a historical constellation of events.” For more than a century, graphology has been a source of contention. Although proponents refer to anecdotal evidence of good comments as justification for using it in personality assessments, Empirical research have failed to back up its supporters’ claims of validity. It’s also been named one of the top five most discredited psychological exams by mental health professionals.
7 detailed workshops were conducted in form of 7 levels on Graphology by INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOSPIRITUAL THERAPY COUNSELLING AND RESEARCH form 8th June to 19th July, 2021 . The workshop had 150+ participants. All the participants were trained under the guidance Mr. Bharat Kumar (Trainer, Director).
